Look Of The Day: Sunday Funday

Most of my Sundays are spent lounging, relaxing, and running errands, but mostly mourning the end of the weekend — womp, womp. They always seem to fly by way too fast! This Sunday it was 75 and sunny in LA — try not to be jealous — and I spent the day soaking up the sun in my favorite casual dress. Even though its just a basic baby doll dress, the leopard print adds a little pizazz to this simple look.

Little Black Dress…Big Statement

After an unneccesarily long hiatus, I’ve finally made my way back into the blogosphere — and just in the nick of time! Let’s be real, never could I ever be a boy — but sometimes it’s fun to dress like one! Incorporating menswear pieces into your wardrobe is an easy way to make your look effortlessly polished or just to mix up your style all together. Look Of The Day: Disco Inferno

This weekend I celebrated with two of my friends to ring in their 24 birthdays, and — as any shopaholic knows — parties are the perfect excuse for a little shopping to find a new ensemble. High-waisted pants have become one of my favorite pieces lately! They’re figuring flattering for almost everyone and a pair that I found at American Apparel is no exception.

Look Of The Day: First Day Jitters

Finding the perfect outfit for the first day of a new job always seems reminiscent of the first day of a new school year. You’re obviously sporting some new duds, but at the same time don’t want to be the girl that’s trying too hard. I was faced with the same dilemma this morning while getting ready for my first day of work! Working in the fashion industry comes with added pressure to always look your best — as we all learned from “The Devil Wears Prada.” So I made my way to Desert Hills Premium Outlets to find a few new pieces to mix with basics that I already have in my wardrobe.

Look Of The Day: Night at the Movies

If you’ve yet to see “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s” immediately stop everything you’re doing and head to LA or NYC for the next showing–after you finish reading this post, of course. In the tribute-esque documentary of the legendary department store, Bergdorf Goodman, you essentially take a walk through fashion history and get a sneak peek into all that is Bergdorf’s. Naturally, there was a paparazzi-free red carpet to snap pictures right before heading into the theater. Check out my look of the day as I made my way to Arclight Hollywood, along with my favorite It Girl Leah, this weekend…
