This weekend I celebrated with two of my friends to ring in their 24 birthdays, and — as any shopaholic knows — parties are the perfect excuse for a little shopping to find a new ensemble. High-waisted pants have become one of my favorite pieces lately! They’re figuring flattering for almost everyone and a pair that I found at American Apparel is no exception.

Although these pants are a bit pricier than my typical shopping finds, I have no doubt that I’ll get my money’s worth! They’re so versatile, easy to dress up or down, and can work themselves into an ensemble for work or a night out.
